Leadership
Meet Principal Shaw
On behalf of the entire staff, I welcome you to “Marvelous” Miles Jones Elementary School, Home of the Jaguars! I am thrilled to serve as the principal of this fine school as I enter my 13th year as an administrator where students, staff, and parents are the center of success. We here at Miles Jones believe that our scholars should be provided with ample opportunities to explore, learn, and grow in a safe and nurturing school environment.
Along with my staff, I will continue the legacy of success by building strong relationships with parents, students, staff, and community partners. We will incorporate a variety of instructional methods to meet the needs of each and every student. It is my sincere desire to provide expanded opportunities for our students to acquire the skills to become productive citizens and lifelong learners in a vastly changing society.
I anticipate a most successful year as my team and I support the academic, social, and emotional growth of all students here at “Marvelous” Miles Jones Elementary School. As the Principal, my door is always opened and I welcome your input. “A Great Team Can do A Lot Together.” Please feel free to stop in or call to make an appointment to discuss any concerns, suggestions, or ideas to help make this the best year ever.
